Recently, Micromax has unveiled its much-awaited Bharat 1 4G VoLTE feature phone in the Indian market in association with state-run telecom operator BSNL. The device is 4G VoLTE device which comes with bundled tariff plan for BSNL users. Now that the company has collaborated with BSNL, the phone comes with an offer of Rs. 97 and BSNL announced at the event that the plan offers unlimited voice calls and data for 28 days.
Rahul Sharma, Co-founder Micromax said in an event, “Both Micromax and BSNL have been working with an aim to bring the next wave of unconnected users on the Internet.” He further added, “We will now take this vision forward with Bharat 1 and create a compelling proposition for the users that is a first in the category.”
Now the more clear details about the plan have come out. The foremost thing to be noted here would be that the plan will be data limited, that is, BSNL gives high-speed data of 5GB, and after the FUP the speed of the network will be reduced to 80 Kbps. Further, as per the network ability, the data function will work. But the most amazing thing about the plan is that it is offering unlimited voice calls to any network for 28 days, and after 28 days, calls will be charged at Rs. 1/min for both off-net and on-net calls.
Though BSNL is providing just 10 SMS per month for 28 days. The main thing to be noted here is that the plan is not there for all the BSNL users, as it has been just unveiled for Micromax Bharat 1 users.
