Indian telecom operator has launched two new tariff plans of Rs 186 and Rs 485 for its users in Tamil Nadu. In these two new plans, the users will get the benefit of unlimited voice calling and data.
In a previous report, Both the existing as well as new BSNL had launched a new Rs 446 plan for its Kerala circle customers. The customers in Tamil Nadu will be able to enjoy the benefits of the Rs 186 plan. The other private operators in the market like Bharti Airtel and Vodafone have launched new affordable plans like Rs 178, Rs 195 and Rs 199 that also offers unlimited voice calls and 1GB data to its user. The new BSNL Rs 186 plan is also offering similar benefits of free voice calls and 1GB data for a period of 28 days. But thee voice calling benefit is only applicable in the home circle.
The BSNL Rs 485 offer plan is a new high-data plan for BSNL users in Tamil Nadu circle. This plan is also valid for both the existing as well as the new BSNL customers but has an extended benefit compared to Rs 186 plan. The Rs 485 plan offers 1GB data/day and unlimited voice calls in home as well as national roaming but excluding Mumbai and Delhi circle as BSNL does not have its operation in these two regions. The user will be able to make unlimited voice calls without any limit to any network in India.
These two Rs 186 and Rs 485 plans have been launched by BSNL as a promotional offer starting from October 21, 2017 and ending on January 18, 2018. Besides, the users will also get these plans at cheaper rates if they activate it by sending an SMS. For instance, if the user sends an SMS as PLAN BSNL to 12 in order to activate the Rs 186 plan then an amount of just Rs 157 will be charged for the plan. Similarly, to activate the Rs 485 plan via SMS, the user will have to send an SMS as PLAN BSNL485 to 123 and an amount of just Rs 411 will be charged for the plan.
