These days, Telecom companies, in a bid to stay relevant in the market, are bringing out customer friendly schemes. With Reliance network’s Jio, posing a tough competition to them, they have to refine their calls and data plans regularly.
Later last week, Vodafone had brought a new data and call plan for the prepaid 4G users in Maharashtra and Goa. And before that, Airtel had fine tuned its Rs 399/- plan. This time, its Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL).
The government-run major telecom company, BSNL has brought a Rs 1099/- data plan for prepaid users. According to the conditions of the plan, the telecom company will provide users with unlimited 3G data for 30 days. The best feature is they will not reduce the speed. Unlike it existing plan of Rs 1099, where 9GB data was available for 60 days. And if the data was consumed, it led to reduction in speed. However, the current revised plan is exclusive for prepaid users
In addition to this, the company has doubled the 3G data usage limit from existing 5GB to 10GB, at Rs 549. In another similar plan of Rs 156, 3G data usage has doubled to 2GB.
This is not the first plan launched by the telecom giant. They had previously introduced a ‘Rakhi pe Saugaat’ plan for their prepaid users. This was launched for a short validity from august 3 to august 14. In this the users could enjoy 1GB data plus unlimited calls at Rs 74 for 5 days. Then there were other Rs 189, 289 and 389 plans.
Similar to the other private telecom giants, BSNL also brought a Chauka-444 plan to give competition to Reliance network. In this the company offered, 360 GB (4 GB per day) data for 90 days. However, this plan is also available only for prepaid users.
