BSNL Concussed Off Installation Charges for Fixed Line’s New Connections

BSNL has come up with a new way to attract customers, the company has decided to completely waive off installation charges for fixed line services in the country.

There will also be a 100% cashback on the purchase of WiFi enabled broadband modem if the customer chooses a monthly plan of Rs 675 and above. The ADSL WiFi modem costs for Rs 1,500 and cash back will be made at the rate of Rs 50 per month for a maximum of 30 months.

The announcement by the company states, “waiver of Installation charges for new landline or wireline, Broadband and FTTH connections (voice/Broadband/combo in all the circles.”

“The scheme is effective from today and is not a limited period offer. It will continue till further orders or announcement,” a senior BSNL official confirmed.

The company usually charges Rs 600 for installing any new landline connection and Rs 850 for new broadband connection.

The compnay at the moment has a 55.34 per cent market share and is known to lead the wireline service segment. It also has more than 1.33 crore wireline subscribers which include 98 lakh broadband connections.
